How do you show the branding, feeling and new technology of a brand all-in-one video for experts?

We were tasked with creating a video that communicates with an audience of software engineers. The goal was to show the depth and complexity of Pinterest's Lens technology, and to create excitement and awareness around Pinterest's advanced back-end design, encouraging engineers to apply to become members of the Pinterest team.

Tentree

What materials really go into a piece of clothing?

To help explain the process and fabrication of Tentree’s four ‘Crown Materials’ we created a series of visually and sonically arresting and educational web videos. 
These short videos each conveyed a clear and simple narrative without the use of text or narration. Instead, we treated the viewer to a fun and easy-to-follow, step-by-step story. It was shot in beautiful sunlit close-ups and demonstrates how the Tentree fabrics are derived directly from raw materials. The rich and detailed sound design brought an immediacy to the pieces, giving the viewer the feeling they were partaking in the process. 

The result was an eye-catching and satisfying pastiche of images: natural and recycled fibres, being worked and transformed by hand into the viewer’s favourite garment. These handmade facsimiles of the real-life factory processes are fun and informative and provided the viewers with anticipation of relief at buying clothes guilt-free at Tentree.

Case Study: Partnership

BC Dairy

Showing the human side of our dairy farmers.

The objective of the Inspired by Farmers series was to maintain public trust and support of BC Dairy farmers by changing perceptions about dairy farmers. Working together with our friends at Taxi we chose three local BC Dairy Farmers with three well-known chefs from Vancouver to feature in this series. These chefs visited the farms to have the opportunity to learn where their dairy products come from, and about the real people who produce it. Each chef produced dishes inspired by the farmers and their stories.

Short 30 second versions of all of the three stories were shared in cinemas last summer and fall while the full 90-second primary videos, as well as 30, 15, and 10-second shorts were shared across social platforms and used as sponsored ads (the complete set of assets can be found at www.inpsiredbyfarmers.ca). Overall, it was a unique way to share our local dairy farmers’ stories and what inspires them.

Southlands

How do you create a marketing vision for a development that isn’t built yet?

We were tasked with creating a marketing vision for a yet-to-be-built community in the Delta area. To highlight the commitment to the original agriculture of the land and the innovative community planning being employed in Century Group’s development, we decided to feature the real people behind the project itself. Working alongside Letterbox agency, we created a detailed concept proposal for the execution of a mini-documentary series as well as a large scale social media rollout. 
This ongoing project includes a series of documentary vignettes that outline the stages of production as well as the key marketing elements for this unique agricultural-based community in development.
