We sat down with our Producer Carrie and Editor Adam to gain a little insight into what it's like for them to work on a project like this, and what goes into making ideas come to life on video. Check out the behind the scenes video too!
Carrie:
It's really exciting to get project with Pinterest. It's always awesome. When you hear from a prospective client, that's such a recognizable name, it gets us excited.
Adam:
The challenge wasn't creating a brand or a feel for the video, it was more about illustrating the new tech that they've got, trying to appeal to people that knew how these technologies worked.
Carrie:
A lot of it is stock images that we're using. There's actually only one live action shot in there, which we use our resident model Sarah Devlin from our team.
Adam:
We were demonstrating quite a lot of high level back-end development technology, but in a visual way. So that presented a few different challenges, mainly the graphic with the big network section of all the pens drift in together, that was quite a tough one to do all of the motion.
Adam:
All of the fun, all of the excitement in the video had to come from key framing and shapes which ended up in total of 180 hours editing and 240 in total.
Carrie:
It was a really fun project to work on and we are super stoked to have a brand like Pinterest in our portfolio. So we hope to get to work more with them again and keep bringing in brands like that, that people recognize. It's really exciting. Definitely one that we are proud of.
