A Story That Sells the Lifestyle

Anthem wasn’t just selling units—they were selling a lifestyle. The goal was to show what life could look and feel like at SoCo2: walkable, energetic, community-focused, and connected to transit and the surrounding neighborhood.

Creative Strategy

For the SoCo2 video, we focused on a group of young friends exploring the development and its surroundings—capturing real connection, movement, and memorable moments in a way that felt spontaneous yet polished. Working closely with Anthem, we adapted the concept to available locations, fine-tuning story beats on the fly in a seamless blend of vision and practicality. Through a lifestyle-driven lens, we highlighted key amenities and location perks without it feeling like a brochure, crafting the characters’ journey to feel like a genuine day-in-the-life experience. Inspired by high-end campaigns, we incorporated subtle, tech-forward flourishes—like floating text messages and clever transitions—to keep things modern, cinematic, and playful.

5 Locations. 1 Shoot Day. No Problem.

We covered a lot of ground in one day: A trendy local restaurant, The SkyTrain, Simon Fraser University, Interiors from a similar Anthem development, & surrounding neighbourhood moments. We shot on an Arri Alexa Mini for that cinematic quality, and ran a five-person crew with a nimble splinter unit that split off mid-day to prep or grab key shots. There was this great energy on set—collaborative, upbeat, and efficient. Everyone hustled hard and had fun doing it. Pulling off a day this packed without a hitch? That’s rare. And it showed in the footage.

Even years later, the video’s being used as a gold-standard example internally for real estate development marketing. It’s lived on their sales landing page, in ads, and across social, getting consistent praise and strong engagement.
